Latham FD Members Support Patriot Flight.

On Saturday April 17, 2010 members of the Latham Fire Department assembled to escort World War II Veterans to the Albany International Airport. The veterans were a part of Patriot Flight, a volunteer organization providing transportation for veterans to the World War II Memorial in Washington, DC. The memorial honors the 16 million who served in the armed forces of the United States, the more 400,000 who died, and all who supported the war effort from home. LFD extends best wishes and sincere thanks to our veterans for their service to our country.
